Meet GaryGary loves cameras, and appreciates the art of photography because:
"It is the only way I know how to stop time.” At age sixteen, Gary got involved with cameras and that passion took him around the world. Attending photography school in Europe, Gary next earned an art degree and began trotting the world as a multilingual photojournalist. “Photography is an acute form of expression for me. I never had any other jobs in my life except photography-related ones.” This career took him into corporate and event photography, real estate and weddings, image capture from planes and helicopters, and eventually into the exciting world of aerial drone shoots. His motto? “You've just got to be proficient at your craft, trust your abilities, and solve the problems on the fly.” Gary is a FAA 107 certified commercial drone pilot whose images have been published in European magazines and newspapers in the USA. His work in Germany, the UK, the Nederlands and the US has become renowned, once even making the cover of the Der Spiegel, the European counterpart to Newsweek. When Gary isn’t behind the lens of a camera, he likes to travel, be involved in tennis, archery, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and music. |
